After sharing my Schitt’s Creek inspired Vintage Industrial bedroom design with you, I know that you all love vintage-inspired interiors. That’s why our latest Shop The Look is a beautiful Romantic Vintage bedroom design with panelled walls, antique metals and soft fabrics.
Design Inspiration
My inspiration for this vintage bedroom design was this photograph of a beautiful floral arrangement against a paneled wooden door. I love the contrast of the whimsical old-fashioned pink roses against the metal vase and old wooden crate, so I decided to pull some of these elements together to create the final bedroom design.
Vintage Romance
For this bedroom design, I’ve used wall panelling painted in dusky green make the room feel cosy. By adding wall panelling, you can give your room an instant upgrade and add a sense of grandeur. The gorgeous green paint colour is the perfect backdrop for the vintage design and also adds a level of softness when paired with dusky pink accessories. Floral photography in soft pinks hung either side of the bed gives the room a romantic, feminine feel.
I’ve layered rugs together under the bed for a relaxed feel which will be super soft underfoot too. The bedding should feel relaxed and inviting, with linen cushions in a soft pink to pull out the gorgeous colours of the artwork and rug.
